Sundays at the Showground deliver South Australia's purest farm run—100% locally grown, baked, or caught with zero interstate fillers. Regulars weave through the open sheds with wheeled carts, hauling pasture-raised eggs, crisp greens, and freshly netted fish directly from the growers. Beyond the weekly pantry haul, it doubles as an easy Sunday grazing circuit: hot chicken-and-leek pies from Poh Ling’s Jamface stand, crusty olive loaves, French pastries, and small-batch alpaca salami eaten to live fiddle tunes on the lawn. Sign up on-site for a market membership to shave 10% off the morning's haul.
- Strictly Local Producers: Stallholders are strictly vetted to sell only what they grow, catch, or make within South Australia, keeping wholesale middlemen out.
- Sunday Grazing & Bakeries: Browse warm chicken-and-leek pies at Poh Ling's Jamface, French comtoise pastries, and sourdough doughnuts alongside live morning buskers.
- Member Perks: An annual market membership provides a 10% discount across market vendor purchases on the day.

Chicken and leek pie
Needed something savoury to begin breakfast and opted for a warmed chicken and leek pie. Thick but light buttery pastry like that of a quiche (don't think meat pie pastry) and the chicken and leek filling is excellent. Delicious pie oozing flavour.
Shaun D'Monte Sweet potato and rosemary pie
She does a sweet potato and rosemary pie that will knock your vego socks off.
Dan Butler Alpaca salami
Had a grazing brunch, so many delicious treats including the Alpacca Salami (give it a try!).
Travel Jen Lavender brownie

Tim Olive bread
The freshly baked breads are a favourite, specifically olive bread.
Lauren Demasi Comtoise
Next stop was to @Mulots_Patisserie for comtoise - little pastry shell filled with cheese, potatoes, onion and eggs, milk, cream mix. Warmed up the pastry is delicious and so too the filling which is like a warm hug, but needed a bit more seasoning. Not at all rich, lovely creation.
Shaun D'Monte Strawberry cheesecake sourdough doughnut
I also popped by @ButterAndToastAdl for a strawberry cheesecake sourdough doughnut. Very light, soft, spongey with a delicious strawberry cream filling which isn't too sweet. Delicious creation.
