About Bloom

Walkers cutting past Bonython Park know the drill—slip under the bridge and emerge at an airy pavilion built for shared dining. The kitchen leans hard into open-hearth cooking. Groups of four tackle bowls of hummus, grilled halloumi, and Murray cod scooped up with warm focaccia from the fire. Service keeps pace under the gum trees, with outdoor wood fires and wool blankets making winter mornings easy. Grab a pistachio scroll from the counter before the morning rush wipes them out.

  • Generous Shared Feasts: Generous hearth-cooked spreads, halloumi, and Murray cod proportioned for groups of four or more to share.
  • Riverside Parkland Pavilion: Spacious pavilion setting along the riverbank by Bonython Park, complete with leafy shade and winter wood fires.
  • Fire Kitchen & Cafe Staples: Open hearth baking, specialty batch brew coffee, and coveted morning pistachio scrolls that sell out early.
  • Attentive Group Hospitality: Welcoming team equipped for split billing, varied dietary requests, and private celebrations.

  • Riverside Parkland Setting with Wood Fire

Positioned right by Bonython Park and the river, Bloom pairs outdoor seating under shaded trees with blankets and a roaring wood fire during cooler months.

I remember visiting last winter when they had a wood fire outside to keep everyone warm, along with blankets while sitting under the trees, which was a really nice touch.

  • Open-Hearth Kitchen Dynamics

An open-concept kitchen centers the dining room, giving guests an engaging view of artisanal cooking over the hearth and dedicated culinary craft.

My favourite part is the open kitchen. I was lucky enough to listen to and watch a chef bring trained by head chef and it was such an awesome experience.
