This Klemzig spot serves authentic Dutch comfort food alongside a packed grocer of imported goods. Regulars stop in for warm, puffy poffertjes dusted in icing sugar with pats of butter, or plates of crispy bitterballen paired with mustard and fries. Amsterdam river murals and vintage Dutch curios set a cozy backdrop while parents relax over a speculaas latte as kids tackle the board games. Before heading out, patrons raid the pantry shelves for hard-to-find salty licorice, appelmoes, and traditional stroopwafels.

    The poffertjes the stand out though. Served with butter, whipped cream and icing sugar, I dubbed them "little morsels of happiness". So fluffy and easy to eat, perfect for sharing.
