Tucked inside Newton Village, Shamora swaps predictable shopping-centre fare for piping hot borscht, savoury crepes, and Himalayan chilli rice plates. Regulars come through for speedy morning coffees and towering pancake stacks, but the kitchen leans into regional comfort dishes you rarely spot on suburban menus. Expect bowls of Siberian pelmeni, spicy Emadatshi chicken, and tender lamb plov paired with fresh-pressed juices or a quick flat white.
- Cross-Cultural Specialty Plates: The kitchen pairs standard brunch staples with Siberian pelmeni, hearty borscht soup, and fiery Emadatshi chicken.
- Bustling Suburban Hub: Newton Village regulars rely on prompt table service for morning lattes, fresh juices, and generous pancake stacks.

Prompt service and dependable cafe staples
Whether you are ordering hot coffee, freshly prepared bacon and egg muffins, or Eggs Benedict, dishes and drinks arrive promptly even when the dining area is bustling.
Food was served very fast, and coffee too despite it being almost full of customers.
Josh G Consistently fresh juices and hot coffee
Guests rely on freshly extracted fruit juices and rich, properly heated coffee served with warm, attentive care.
The fresh fruit juices are amazing; I have a hard time deciding which to get every visit.
Bonnie Hamler Rare cross-cultural regional comfort dishes
The menu stands out from typical suburban cafes with distinct regional specialties like Himalayan chili rice crepes, Emadatshi chicken, and savoury dumplings.
I really appreciate the variety of food selections that you don’t find at the standard cafes.
Daniel Authentic flavours and specialty comfort cooking
Diners experience vibrant, seasoned traditional dishes like Siberian pelmeni, jhasha paa, and golubtsy rarely encountered on a cafe brunch menu.
The jhasha paa had just the right amount of spiciness and flavour, the golubtsy sauce/soup filled with tomato and dill flavour, and the Siberian pelmeni was a lovely starter to our mains.
Petunia Huang Generous servings for family breakfasts and get-togethers
Generous portions of Canadian pancakes, high tea platters, and big breakfasts make it an easy, crowd-pleasing destination for outings with family and kids.
Had the Canadian pancake breakfast. The serving was very generous. The pancakes cooked to perfection and the bacon beautiful and soft.
Rick Noack Shared dining and high tea options
Thoughtfully arranged high tea sets and breakfast plates cater seamlessly to groups with mixed tastes and varied dietary preferences.
The serves were generous with good balance of sweet and savoury. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. The high Tea was excellent value for money, would highly recommend.

Tanja Roma Himalayan Chili Rice Crepe
Himalayan Chili Rice Crepe is a must try!! It's easily the best item in the menu that I have tried so far. It's got the perfect kick to it, and very well seasoned.
Kiky Aritya Emadatshi Chicken
The Emadatshi Chicken should probably have a second chilli symbol next to it! Absolutely delicious but not for the faint of heart!

Before you head over
Practical tips on parking, spice levels, and customising your order
Watch the spice levels
Dishes like the Emadatshi Chicken and Himalayan chili plates pack serious heat and are not for the faint of heart; check with staff about milder alternatives if you have lower spice tolerance.
EV charging available
If you are driving, take advantage of the shopping centre car park, which features a Chargefox EV charging station right on site.
Request drinks unsweetened
While the fresh juices get high praise, some blended drinks like carrot juice with ginger can be quite sweet; ask for sweetener on the side if you prefer to adjust it yourself.
