About OAR

Set right on the edge of West Lakes, OAR delivers unhurried waterfront dining where morning rowers glide past your table. Locals drop in after paddling the lake or walking the Tennyson trail, grabbing flat whites and pulling up a pet-friendly seat under outdoor umbrellas. When the weather turns brisk, an indoor fire heater warms the dining room. Brunch regulars point to the zucchini and corn fritters alongside poached eggs, or settle in for an easy lunch of grilled barramundi while watching competition boats launch from the rowing centre.

  • Rowing Hub Setting: Direct lakeside dining perched alongside the rowing centre, offering front-row views of passing boats and kayak runs.
  • All-Weather Waterside Dining: Choose between outdoor umbrella tables right by the water or warm indoor seats beside the fire heater.
  • Lakefront Brunch & Lunch: Plates span crisp zucchini and corn fritters with poached eggs to fresh lunchtime barramundi.
