Perched right above Alberton Oval, this spacious club bistro pairs classic South Australian counter meals with sweeping views across the turf toward the Adelaide Hills. Families settle along the outdoor balcony tables to watch footy drills below, while the kitchen turns out grilled flathead, crisp salt and pepper squid, and schnitzels smothered in peppercorn gravy. Downstairs, fans take in the premiership timeline and club museum exhibits before heading upstairs for tap beers beside the double-sided fireplace.

    you won’t find better Salt & Pepper Squid anywhere unless you head on out on the water and catch it yourself. I continue to return for their remarkable squid.
