At Hollywood Plaza, Jive Cafe delivers substantial plates and strong barista brews in an easygoing, open setting. Morning regulars head straight in for the massive big brekkie—heaped with eggs and baked beans—or snag a table for poached eggs blanketed in hollandaise. The kitchen turns out steak sandwiches with hot chips for lunch, while the espresso bar pulls dependable, robust shots alongside towering iced coffees topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Patio tables catch the breeze outside the sliding glass doors, giving groups plenty of space to settle in over fish baskets and cold beers.
