About Uraidla Republic Cafe, Bakery & Brewery

Up in the scenic Adelaide Hills, working-bakery hustle collides with a craft brewery in one sprawling, light-industrial room. Weekend day-trippers routinely fill the tables for a space that pairs 1950s diner quirk with the smell of warm dough. The pastry counter runs deep with flaky laminated cronuts, hefty con carne pies, and pork and fennel rolls. Behind glass, brewing tanks turn out seasonal house ales, giving brunch an unexpected edge alongside pots of honey-noted Beekeeper tea swaddled in striped knit cosies. Regulars grab day-old sourdough loaves at half price or sit outside with a hot beef ragu pie and a cold half-pint.

  • Eclectic Hills Atmosphere: Pairing 1950s diner styling with vintage tableware and commercial baking in a high-ceilinged industrial hall.
  • On-Site Brewery & Teas: Pours seasonal ales brewed on-site alongside specialty sips like honey-noted Beekeeper tea.
  • House-Baked Pastries & Pies: Bakes flaky cronuts, beef ragu pies, and hearty savoury rolls, with half-price day-old sourdough loaves at the counter.

  • Beekeeper Tea

I also had the beekeeper tea. I don't really have much of a sweet tooth but the tea tasted of honey, it wasn't sweet like honey - it was so wonderful. And came with a brown and yellow striped tea cosy that was so endearing, even the guest at the next table commented on it!

  • In-House Brewed Ale

The brewed-in-house ale was pretty good.
