How should we check bushfire conditions before an Adelaide and Kangaroo Island trip?

Keep a flexible alternate day and follow official directions if a warning affects the planned area.

Ask accommodation and operators about any local closure or changed access without relying on an old forum date.

Use current state emergency alerts and park or ferry notices for the exact route shortly before travel.
